It is a top-down action RPG that takes cues from the 16-bit era of games such as Zelda and Secret of Mana in terms of aesthetic and gameplay. Speaking of Secret of Mana, this game’s soundtrack features Hiroki Kikuta, Secret of Mana’s composer, as a guest composer. Hazelnut Bastille is a standard ARPG, and it won’t be breaking any new ground when it comes to gaming at large.
